New Dos

As promised, here are some fabulous pictures of our mommy-daughter hair cuts!

Actually this is our best impression of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

Gracen thought Pavin needed to be included as well. So here's Cinderella...or the lead singer of some 80's hair band...take your pick.

Gracen's hair really did turn out super cute! She enjoys her sassy new style and brushing and combing it herself in the mornings. She's turned quite independent as of late. Which is both hilarious and a little sad.

This is one of my favorite new Payco pics. Bright blue eyes, "with a caught in the act" expression.
The kids have been busy playing the wii this morning. Gracen is actually not bad at golf. But boxing is her best "sport".

She even tried to teach Pavin.

Happy Monday all around!

Pavin's First Haircut

Pavin has a new girlfriend...Miss Danielle. Not because she gave him a super cute big boy (sniff, sniff) haircut, but because she kept him double fisted with Cheetos and cookies throughout the clipping. :)

He did a great job, mostly because it was just another opportunity to eat and look a pretty lady. Just a typical day for Pakes.

He lost his curls (and partial mullet) in the process and now has even less standing in his way on his road to general nuttiness. What was I thinking? Note...the tight grip on the goodies to go.

Gracen goes in for her second ever haircut tomorrow. Pictures and commentary to follow.

New Year Nuttiness...

We are back in the swing of things and embracing all the fun and chaos a new year brings. The kids have enjoyed playing with all of their new stuff and getting back into the routine of school and friends again.

Here's a lovely picture of Gracen and Sleeping Beauty. She was able to purchase the princess and her bed with money she earned doing chores around the house (and secret piggy bank stuffing by Pa on his last visit.) We are most proud however of her sweet spirit and excitement about tithing her money as well.

Classic Pavin scrunchy face.

We got all rowdy and pumped up for the big Sugar Bowl game. Apparently that spirit was lost on our beloved Tide.

Payco also helped clean up the Christmas decorations this year. That is if helping means crawling in all of the boxes and belly laughing until I "found" him and pulled him out.

Here's to the post Christmas clean up and clear out! Bluffton Self Help donation center, here we come!
